Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book wedding makeup?
Peak-season Saturdays often book 6–12 months out, so reach out as soon as you have a date. I recommend a bridal trial/preview 2–3 months before the wedding.
Is a bridal trial/preview required?
A bridal trial is not required, but it is recommended for brides who want to feel fully confident in their wedding day look. The preview gives us time to bring your vision to life, refine the details, and make sure everything feels just right before the big day. That way, your wedding morning can feel calm, relaxed, and seamless, with your look already perfected and ready to come together beautifully.
Do you offer hair styling too?
I specialize exclusively in bridal makeup, allowing me to give your wedding day look my full attention and care. While I do not offer hair services, I have had the pleasure of working alongside many exceptionally talented hairstylists throughout the Charlotte metro area. These are trusted artists I partner with often and am always happy to recommend based on your style, vision, and wedding day needs.
What products do you use?
My professional kit is thoughtfully curated with a wide range of products and brands I have discovered, tested, and trusted throughout my career. I continue to replenish the formulas that perform beautifully, photograph flawlessly, and wear comfortably throughout the day. My kit includes everything from timeless luxury favorites to modern and clean beauty options, allowing me to tailor each look to your skin, preferences, and vision while ensuring your makeup is designed to last.
Do you teach makeup lessons?
Yes. I offer private one-on-one makeup lessons, small group lessons, demonstrations, and in-home makeup parties for adults and teens throughout the Charlotte metro area. For private lessons, we start with the products you already own and go through what works, what doesn’t, and what may be worth adding to your routine. I’ll also show you simple techniques that feel comfortable, flattering, and easy to recreate on your own.
How do I pay?
I accept cash, Zelle, and Venmo. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and appointment time. To ensure your date is reserved, your booking is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
